NATIONAL INSTITUTE  OF  AYURVEDA

Applications are invited in the Prescribed Format for the following Posts.   Applicants should read the Details of the Posts and the Important Information given below  and  apply accordingly in the Format given hereunder:

1.  PROFESSOR – 4 Posts to be filled by Deputation Including Short-Term Contract (1 Post Each  in  the Subjects of Agad Tantra, Kaumar Bhritya, Kriya Sharir and Shalakya Tantra)

Officers of Central  Government,  State  Government,  Statutory  Organizations,  Autonomous  Bodies,  PSUs, University or Research Institutions: Holding analogous Post on regular basis  with Essential Educational Qualification of Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized under IMCC Act 1970.OR Persons having  5 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience of regular service as Reader/Associate Professor in the concerned Subject or   5  Years  Research Experience in  the Pay  Scale  of PB-3  (Rs.  15600-39100) with Grade  Pay  of Rs. 7600 with NPA with Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized under IMCC Act 1970.

OR

15  Years Combined Teaching Experience as  Reader/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer in  the Subject concerned or 15  Years  Research Experience in  PB-3  (Rs.  15600-39100)  with Grade  Pay    Rs. 7600,    Rs. 6600  and Rs. 5400    with NPA respectively   out of  which  minimum 3  Years of  Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3  Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600  with NPA with Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized under IMCC Act 1970.

(ii)    Minimum  5 Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus or National Journals. Pay Scale:  Pay Level-13 (Rs. 1,23,100-2,15,900) + NPA Maximum Age:  Not exceeding 56 Years as on the Closing Date of Applications.

2.  DEPUTY DIRECTOR (ADMN.) – 1 Post to be filled by Deputation Including Short-Term Contract

Essential Qualifications: Officers of the Central Govt./State Govt./Union Territories holding  analogous Post or Officers with Grade Pay of  Rs.5400 having 3 Years Administrative Experience. Pay Scale:  Pay Level-11 (Rs. 67,700-2,08,700). Maximum Age:  Not exceeding 56 Years as on the Closing Date of Applications.

3.  ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER – 1 Post to be filled by Deputation Including Short-Term Contract

Essential Qualifications: Officers of Central Government, State Government, Statutory Organizations, Autonomous Bodies,  PSUs, University or Research Institutions holding  analogous Post on regular basis  and having Graduate Degree from recognized University in the Pay  Scale  of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay  Rs. 5400  with sufficient experience in  the field  of Administration, Establishment and Accounts.

OR

Assistant  or equivalent with 8  years of  experience in  the Grade  Pay  of  Rs. 4200   out of  which  minimum   3  years experience in Accounts, Administration, Establishment work. Pay Scale:   Pay Level-10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) Maximum Age:  Not exceeding 56 Years as on the Closing Date of Applications.

4.  ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Rog Nidan & Vikriti Vigyan) – 1 Post Un-Reserved) Essential Qualification:

PG Degree in Ayurveda in the Subject of Rog Nidan & Vikriti Vigyan) included recognized under  IMCC Act, 1970. Desirable: (1) Publications and Experience in Research. (2) Working Knowledge of Computers. Pay Scale:   Pay Level-10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) + NPA Maximum Age:  Not exceeding 40 Years as on the Closing Date of Applications.

5.  CLINICAL REGISTRAR (Kayachikitsa) – 1 Post on Tenure Basis for 3 Years – Un-Reserved

Essential Qualification MD(Ayurved) in the Subject of Kayachikitsa from a recognized University and duly recognized by CCIM. Pay Scale:  Pay Level 10.  Rs. 56,100-1,77,500 + NPA Maximum Age:  40 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. 

6.  NURSING OFFICER – 1 Post Un-Reserved Essential Qualification

A.  (i)  B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian  Nursing Council recognized Institute or University. OR

Post basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian  Nursing Council recognized Institute or University. (ii)    Registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.

OR

B.  (i)  B.Sc. Nursing (AYUSH) from an AYUSH recognized Institute/University. (ii) Registered in the respective State/Indian AYUSH Nursing Council.

OR

C. (i)   Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian  Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council. (ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.

(iii)Two-Year  experience in minimum 25  bedded Hospital after  acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above.

OR

D. (i)   Diploma in Nursing & Pharmacy of AYUSH and registered in the respective State/Indian AYUSH Nursing Council. (ii)  Two  years  experience in  minimum 25  bedded  Hospital after  acquiring  educational  qualification mentioned above. Pay Scale:  Pay Level 7. Rs. 44,900-1,42,400 Maximum Age:  30 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications.

7. MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST – 1 Post Un-Reserved

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science with 2 Years relevant experience. Pay Scale:  Pay Level 6. Rs. 35,400-1,12,400 Maximum Age:  35 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications.

8.  PHARMACIST (AYURVEDA) – 1 Post Un-Reserved Essential Qualification:

1.  Pass in 12th Standard from a Central/State Board of Education.

2.   Diploma  in AYUSH Nursing & Pharmacy of not less  than 3 Years duration including Internship from a recognized University. OR B. Pharma(Ayurveda) from a recognized University. Pay Scale:  Pay Level 5. Rs. 29,200-92,300 Maximum Age:  30 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications.

9.  JUNIOR MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST – 1 Post Un-Reserved

Essential Qualification:

10+2 with Science Subject and DMLT from any Government recognized Institution with 1 Year relevant experience. Pay Scale:  Pay Level 5. Rs. 29,200-92,300 Maximum Age:  28 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications.

10.  MULTI-TASKING STAFF (MTS) – 16 Posts (ST-2, OBC-9, EWS-2, Ex-Servicemen-3) Essential Qualification: Pass in 10th Standard from a Central/State Board of Education. Pay Scale:  Pay Level 1. Rs. 18,000-56,900 Maximum Age:  25 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications. 

IMPORTANT  INFORMATION & INSTRUCTIONS

1.          The Applicant must be a Citizen of India.

2.          The Caste/EWS Certificate should be in the manner and  Form prescribed by the Central/State Govt. All such Certificates should be of the current year.

3.          Self-Attested Photocopies of Proof of Date of Birth, Caste/EWS, Educational Qualification, Experience, Discharge Certificate in respect of Ex-Servicemen etc. must be enclosed with the Application failing which the Applicaton will be rejected straightway.

4.          The  details of all Research Publications (indexed in Index  Medicus,  International/National Journals, Peer-Reviewed  etc.), for the Teaching  Posts should be clearly mentioned in a separate sheet of paper with proof.

5.        The  Applicants  should  furnish all  details like  House  Job,  Clinical  Registrar,  Research Officer/Associate/Fellow, TOT, ROTP/CME/Workshops, Publications(Papers with ISBN No. As Author, As Co-Author, in Indexed Journals, National/International Peer Reviewed Journals), Seminars/ Conferences/Workshops  attended  and   Papers Presented  thereto,  Professional Trainings/Hospital Administration/Departmental   Examinations/Computer/IT   Trainings,   Govt.   Sponsored   Projects, Key  Note/Lead  Speeches  delivered,  Participation  as  Resource  Person  etc.  etc.  clearly  whatever possessed by the Applicants. Please also attach Copies of Certificates as proof of the same.

6.          1 Passport Size Self-Attested Latest Photo, taken at the time of filling up this Application Form, should be pasted at the Upper Right Hand Corner of the Application Form.

7.          1 Same Latest Photo(wihtout Attestation) should be stappled in the Application Form for further use.

8.          The  Address  for Communication  should be  clearly and  legibly  written in  CAPITAL LETTERS with PIN CODE, E-Mail, Mobile No. etc.  The  Institute will not be held  responsible for non-receipt or late receipt of any correspondence/intimation by the candidates due to illegible address in the Application Form.

9.          The Upper Age Limit prescribed for the Posts, which  are to be filled by Direct Recruitment , shall  be relaxed by  5 Years  in the case of Applicants belonging to SC, ST and Autonomous Bodies and 3 Years for OBC and 10 Years for PH Candidates and 3 Years over and above  the period of service rendered in Defence Service in respect of Ex-Servicemen.  The Relaxations are as per provisions laid down  by Govt. of India.  However, the Upper Age Limit prescribed is not applicable to regular employees of NIA.

10.        The  Pay  Scales  in  NIA carry usual  Allowances admissible  as  per Central Government  Rules  and applicable to the Institute.

11.        New Pension Scheme  of Government of India is applicable to the Candidates selected for the Posts in this Recruitment.

12.        Applicants already in Govt. Service must send their Applications Through Proper Channel.  However an Advance Copy  may be sent which must reach by the Closing Date.

13.        The Period of Deputation for the Posts to be filled by Deputation Including Short-Term Contract will be for 2 Years or the Posts are filled by Direct Recruitment/Promotion/DACP, whichever is earlier.

14.        Pay Band, Grade Pay and  NPA mentioned in the Essential Qualifications for the Posts of Professor is applicable for all candidates equally  irrespective of Experience in Teaching  or Research side.

15.        The Closing Date for Receipt of Applications for all Applicants, except for the Applicants mentioned in Point No. 16 below, is 20th October 2022 (Thursday).

16.        The  Closing  Date for Receipt of  Applications  for the  Applicants  belonging to Assam,  Meghalaya, Arunachal  Pradesh,  Mizoram,  Manipur,  Nagaland,   Tripura,  Sikkim,  Ladakh   Division  of  J&K,  Spiti District & Pangi  Sub-Division   of  Himachal   Pradesh,  Andaman  & Nicobar Islands  Lakshadweep  is 31st October 2022 (Monday).

17.        The crucial date for determining the Age Limit for all Applicants will be  31st October 2022. 

18.        The following Application Processing & Intimation Fee is payable along with each Application Form, by Demand  Draft only, in favour of 'Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur':

However, no Application Processing & Intimation Fee is payable by Applicants belonging to Physically
Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen Categories.

19.        The  Filled  Application,  affixed  with 2 Latest  Passport Size Photographs,  the Demand  Draft of Fees, Self-attested copies  of all the relevant Certificates/Documents etc. should reach the Vice-Chancellor I/C, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jorawar Singh Gate, Amer Road, Jaipur 302002 by the Closing Date.

20.        The  Institute will not be  responsible for any  delay  in receipt of any  Application due  to any  reason.
Applications received after the Last Date or Applications incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected without any intimation.

21.        Applications  will not be  accepted by  E-Mail or Fax. No enquiry will be  entertained over Phone  or
E-Mail or Fax. Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.

22.        The  Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, to withdraw the vacancy  of any  or all the  Posts  and  to reject any  or all applications without assigning any  reason thereof, whatsoever.

23.        The Institute reserves the right to make  any criteria for Selection/Interview, amendment, cancellation or changes pertaining to this Vacancy  Notification in  whole  or part thereof without assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever.

24.        Any corrigendum, notice, order, amendment etc. regarding this Vacancy Notification will be displayed only on the Website of the Institute and will not be published in Employment News or Newspapers.

25.        For Shortlisting Candidates for Interview and/or Selection, Objective-Type Screening Tests   will be conducted for the Posts of Assistant Professor, Clinical Registrar, Nursing Officer, Medical Laboratory Technologist,  Pharmacist,  Junior  Medical  Laboratory  Technologist  and  MTS depending  upon   the number of Applications for these Posts. All Details of such  Screening Tests will be posted only on the Website of the Institute.

26.        Call Letters for Screening(Written) Test will be  sent to the Candidats by Speed  Post to their given Address.  Applicants should note that all Information about Screening (Wtitten) Tests like Syllabus, Duration of the Test, Total Marks, List of Candidates Called for the Screening Test, their Roll No., Date of Screening Tests, Centre Alloted for the Screening Test etc. will be  posted on  the Website of the Institute. Therefore, the Institute will  not be  responsible  for any  Postal delay  in receiving the Call Letters for Screening(Written) Tests by the Candidates or for any other matter/information relating to this Recruitment. Therefore, Candidates should watch Institute Website frequently and  regularly  for all the information/notice that will be posted on the Website from time to time.

27.        Videography and Photography of all the Candidates appearing in the Screening Tests, Interview will  be  taken at the time of the Screening Tests/Interview for verification and authentication. Any candidate skipping the Videography/Photography will  not be  permitted to appear in  the Screening Test/Interview.
